Get a Commercial Mortgage for a
Planned Development Unit (PUD)
A Planned Unit Development (PUD) is a contained development or subdivision designed for use as a community of homes.
The Planned Unit Development may have separate lots or buildings zoned for different uses - such as for housing, recreation, commercial businesses, or small industrial buildings.
Owners or operators of PUDs typically work with their local governments to develop criteria that will determine common areas, private areas and building guidelines within the property. Once the units are sold as condominiums, the homeowner community will be operated by an association that will manage the offered amenities, features, and common areas.
